Policies & Ethics...
  • Babies will be cared for with exceptional love, care, gentleness and compassion.

  • Babies will be fed, clothed and acceptable and high standards of care shall be upheld.

  • Every child has a right to grow up in a family and form life-long relationships either by being reunified with the biological parent/s, by being adopted or by being placed in the care of long-term foster parents.

  • Every baby who is cared for shall be admitted for the shortest appropriate period of time with the child’s best interest at heart.

  • Adoptions will mainly be done through Christian Organisations and in accordance with their value system, where decisions are made with the best interest of the child in mind.

  • Babies will be cared for separate from children older than 2 years of age.

  • No baby shall be physically punished.


  • Babies’ cultural and linguistic heritage will be respected.

  • All children in our care shall be protected against any form of emotional, physical, sexual or verbal abuse.

  • All babies will be stimulated in a way that is appropriate to their age, ability and aptitude.

  • Babies removed from their biological parent’s care, have the right to be visited by their parent/s with the approval of both the babies’ social worker and that of Baby Moses Baby Sanctuary

  • Above babies shall have the right to the involvement of their biological family unless it is proved that it is not in their best interest.
